If 600 PPs are expiring in July, aren't those 'extended' PPs, that you've had years to use? Do you really begrudge UA finally expiring those PPs?
Of course I don't begrudge UA putting expiration dates on PPs. What I am upset about is that I couldn't use them, and that UA never delivered on the promised "Skip-the-waitlist" pricing. I would've been happy to burn PPs on IAH-ORD/IAH-DEN etc. The problem is that they almost never cleared, even on crappy short routes.
