If 600 PPs are expiring in July, aren't those 'extended' PPs, that you've had years to use? Do you really begrudge UA finally expiring those PPs?

100% agreed! Additionally, I have wondered whether gifting is taken into account when awarding GS status. UA IT can very easily tell when the 1K/GS is actually traveling on the PP itinerary.
