Thanks for the warnings on Dabinet and falling service standards. I have thus booked Sheraton on the Park for an October trip instead of PH Sydney. I'm all about service and dont want to take the risk of getting upset at those prices.

I've stayed at Sheraton 4 times before and enjoyed both pre and post Marriott merger. I got 5 nights for only 129,000 points so the price seems cheaper than PH. I might book one night at PH just to cross it off the list.
