I only stay in Nice for business on my own so value the view from the living room/balcony more than from the bed.
But definitely understand your point especially as the prestige sea view balcony is not the best being on the side of the building thus only partial sea view. But another small avantage of the suite is that being at the far end of the corridor it has less noice from other guests.
So personally I’d choose the prestige suite but understand your position as a couple (without the need for extra space for a baby/child).
