Does anyone know how to see the amount of a international transaction in foreign currency before the PDF statement is generated? Amex shows this by clicking on individual transactions, but I have not found a similar display on Chase. It's highly inconvenient for pre-statement reconciliation of my hotel bills.
Chase does not have that ability to show it online, but if you SM or call to ask for details the rep can tell you.
However unless you want to reconcile it down to the last cents, otherwise I dont see it makes much difference when you can easily find the Visa foreign exchange rates online then just use that to get the ball park figure of the equivalent foreign currencies. In the case of Euro that is super easy if you are fine with the roughly 1.1 exchange rate + or - 0.2% difference.
