Tier points
It looks like I can earn 140 tier points for each business class flight over 2,000 miles on American/Alaska. Or 210 in first, where it exists. I think this is just a case of taking the cheapest qualifying flights I can find?
The four flight requirement
This looks trickier. Do I have to fly to/from the UK? Is there a way to book BA codeshares within the US? Does BA ever waive this requirement for members who live abroad? Or something else...?

Would Iberia Plus Oro (oneworld Sapphire) be an acceptable alternative? No flights on IB or BA are required to attain status with Iberia Plus.
