I was made a booking for YVR<->TPE via VS on CI in J cabin for a trip in Oct/Nov through a phone agent.

The award wasn't searchable on VS's website since I believe it isn't able to search beyond US/UK destinations?

At the end of the booking, I asked the VS agent for a CI PNR, and they were able to give me one. I went on the China Airlines website to try to reserve seats using that PNR, however nothing has come up. I'm chalking this to what the other posts here suggested, which is CI needs to "finalize the booking", that's why it's not showing up yet. Ticket number pulled up my reservation as confirmed on Saudia though.
