Interestingly it’s been the other Mayakoba property restaurants that have consistently disappointed me Vs. the Andaz. Casa Amate has generally been the best Mayakoba dinner experience (I can’t say the same for the Andaz as a property in general though… the service at Banyan Tree is far superior).
For our Andaz dinners , if it’s not too windy , we opt for the beach at Sotovento.
The sargassum sea weed is the only downside we have experienced at the property. I
dnt like things rubbing on my legs when I’m in the ocean. Although they attempt to keep it cleaned up, it’s an uphill battle when it’s coming in
