For the last 4 months, I've been trying to add my AA loyalty number to an upcoming Etihad flight.

I've been trying to add through the manage booking page, and I keep getting this error: 'We're Unable To Add Your Loyalty Number, Please Try Again Later.'

I am positive that my name on the reservation matches my AA account exactly.

I have called Etihad to see if they can add manually. They tell me they can, but when I log back in online it's not there. And when I call back, it also disappears on their end.

Has anyone else had trouble doing this? Any suggestions would be appreciate.
