I fly with them a lot and they do weigh a lot too. Sometimes even at the gate. I actually`had to get them to get my checked bag back because I had about 15kgs in checked baggage and about 9 kgs in my carry on. By the way I was willing to pay the extra kg in my carry on but they refused.
