I've made some hefty purchases on my SPG AMEX card so far this billing period. I can make a few more in the days before this billing period ends. I pay my card off every week online. So I am at the point where my total spend this period is almost the same as my credit limit. Since I payoff my card every week I still have lots of credit left. If I spend in this period more than my stated credit limit will I get points for ALL of my purchases if they exceed the stated credit limit. My wife also has her own card with the same credit limit so I can always spend on hers also if I will not get points. Please advise and sorry if this has been asked before. Regards
