Just booked IAD-SFO roundtrip for 9/15-9/23 as part of my rewards redemption for SFO-PPT roundtrip in Polaris. Applied PP, with each leg on a 787-8. I am one of 10 in Premium Plus being sold as Economy Plus on IAD-SFO with only one seat sold in F. Coming back, I am one of three in Premium Plus being sold as Economy Plus and four seats taken upfront. My luck with upgrades has been far different from most here as I am usually flying Dulles to Florida and back. My flights to LAX, I previously took the upsell offers for many of them given the prices were very reasonable, some as low as $329, and they were on Polaris widebodies. Figure I have a better chance on the way back than going since I am flying back on a Saturday afternoon.
