This is a frequent flyer forum is it not? Therefore I'd say its a reasonable expectation that those present should know the realities of BA, and BA short-haul in particular, and manage their expectations accordingly.

Look, I like a nice glass of chilled white wine as much of the next person. But I also fly BA sufficiently to know that BA-short haul is very much lipstick on a pig, and so if I were ever to expect chilled wine I know full well it would only be on a long-haul flight where they inevitably have both better equipped galleys and more time to chill wines.
