And as you were clearly told. BA don't use this technology on shorthaul. We've been clearly told that the bar is not chilled on short-haul and that the refrigeration on short-haul is reserved for food.
Hence I was correct that, especially on short-haul, people should manage expectations.
Perhaps on long-haul you
might be forgiven a moan, but really, short-haul is short-haul ... ultra-tight turn-arounds, late arrivals, stressed crew, perhaps a bunch of catering wasn't loaded, who cares about your damn wine temperature on short-haul.
