Good morning everyone:

Thanks for the comments...I can see this is not an easy answer . After talking with the Misses (the real decision maker), I think we'll stick with the AF flights. For us, it was really about the TATL portion. The comments appear to be slightly favorable towards AF long-haul, so we don't think switching to DL flights with longer layovers just for D1 makes sense.

Some people mentioned connecting in CDG and Eurobusiness:
1. We've connected through CDG a couple of times using DL for DTW-CDG and AF CDG-XXX. We are probably in the minority, but we like connecting in CDG. The walk from 2E-2F and vice versa is long (for us, a welcome relief after being on a plane), but the signage is good and easy to follow. Also, we find the AF lounges to be better for longer layovers (albeit I don't know what DL's BOS SkyClub is like).
2. We've done AF Eurobusiness before and we don't mind it. For us, the empty seat makes a difference and we find AF service to be a step above DL.

Again, thanks for all the input!
