Granted, I am always in Business (or Plus intra-European), but the only time I came close was on a CR9 from MAN to CPH once, but being on a full-fare Plus ticket did the trick to make them go away..
During my first decade or so of heavy use of SAS in economy class, I don’t recall any of my cabin baggage being weighed ever. Since then, I recall enough instances of it happening to me that I go in realizing the risk is low but still enough above zero that I have to go in prepared about what could happen unless I happen to have a boarding pass before heading to the airport and can skip the land-side check-in/service counters.
