The actual refund, however, many take some time. I booked a last minute itinerary in late May, United outbound, and Delta in bound...found something better within 24 hours of booking. United refunded within a couple of days; while I am still waiting for Delta.

Had I known, I would have gotten eCredit, which I could have used already.
