My wife took the early flight yesterday morning and was surprised not to see the A330.
She is not over interested in aircraft but when I asked said that it was very comfortable and although 3 abreast in economy there was plenty of room leg and the seat extremely comfortable she also liked the 'huge' overhead bins.
The economy seat is from Cathay/Swire subsidiary HAECO Vector.
Cathay currently has 11 new neo's in service with another arriving next week
Interestingly the authoritive aviation website ch-aviation is reporting that the Cathay group is looking to source 40 more neo's and due to the long lead time will lease some aircraft if necessary.
Nice report thanks. I’m an MNL regular also and yes the 321neo has been scheduled on some MNL flights since resumption of services post-pandemic. Really hoping to see frequency ramp up, including the early morning service ex-MNL which used to be operated by crew on a split schedule and which hasn’t been reinstated yet.
