I think poster was referencing that the Euro Business is probably (is) worse than the Delta domestic first the OP would get. I agree, and personally I would prefer connections on mainland US if only because if there are any issues (delay, bag, etc) I am in Delta's "home" as opposed to relying on AF or someone to accommodate.
That said, I guess the business discussion is between an A350 or A330 over the pond, and in that case I personally prefer the A330 Business/First class much more.
OP if you are not concerned with the flight times as 'emma dog' mentioned, I would not hesitate to take the Boston connection instead. I do not have a frame of reference for connections in BOS but I imagine it is not an issue as most delays I have heard come from walking into the airport, not connecting.
