This reminds me actually- there was a very interesting story over on either the AA or DL forum of a person who ended up in a shouting match with a gate agent after he was offloaded when he turned up too late, and then he tried to open the door to the jetway and security were called and he ended up being told that he couldn't fly with the airline again. A (quite deserved) tale of woe indeed....
