For good informal food in Munich, I really like the pork products
purveyors ... Haxnbauer, for sure, also Nurnberger Bratwurstgloeckl
am Dom; but where else to get the full experience but at one of
the brewery restaurants - Augustinerkeller, Spaten Haus, and so
on.
Surprisingly, I had a couple excellent vegetarian meals there:
loved Prinz Myshkin, on Hackerstrasse and Cafe Ignaz near
Josephsplatz (great mushroom-flavored dishes but, as I recall,
be wary of some of the overly healthy tasting pastries).
