Adding child to Household Account

We've recently (well, at the start of April) had a second child. I've had a long saga with BA extending our membership levels for a year (no emails from them for ten weeks), which is finally sorted out. That said, I'm now trying to create a new account for our daughter via our Household Account and every time I click on the link that gets sent out for them (i.e. me) to confirm their membership invitation--I'm sending it to my email address, as I did with our first child--I'm getting a message that the link is invalid. Is this likely to just be a BA IT issue or am I going to need to set up a different email address? I've emailed BA but don't think there's much likelihood of a speedy reply...
