The email confirmation says you can cancel the transaction within 14 days as long as avios not spent. I'm not sure if you cancel you can try to re-boost again??
Just had the same, no 10% bonus. Checked the small print and it isn't limited to the first transaction (this was the second in as many days as I twigged the Amex MR route). Submitted issue on line "we'll reply within 15 days"...
