The structure for InterContinental San Antonio originally opened as an office building in 1958 and then converted into former

Sitting adjacent to the Weston Centre in the heart of San Antonio, the 21-story building features a rooftop pool with downtown views as well as direct access to the River Walk and river taxi landing area.
Following a complete USD 50 million transformation, InterContinental San Antonio will include 40,000 square feet of meeting space, restaurant and bar, and rooftop amenities.

First, nicolas 75, this is in NO WAY directed toward you, you're amazing!
Good lord, I can't
even with these marketing types who write this gibberish.
They don't want to say the "beginning" of construction, so they decide to use a $10 word in its place - "onset." The thing is, they don't realize that "onset" means the beginning of something

Just yesterday, Radisson announced their new hotel in The Gambia would be the first international chain hotel there. Not true. Sheraton had one there for like 15 years, adjacent to the new Radisson site, until maybe 2 or 3 years ago.
Now this. Inter-Continental had a hotel in San Antonio throughout the 1980s. This is not their first property in that city:
