I've just flown LGW-DXB-KUL-LGK on an EK ticket, had no idea that the SkyTrain at KLIA was down so was a panicked run (with 2 staff escorting me), just made the MH flight, but my luggage took 24 hours to catch up with me. That was in J.

My return is KCH-KUL-DXB-LGW with 1h35 in KUL, 1 ticket, but in Y. So appreciating now that 1h35 is very tight, can anyone help advise a plan of attack for making my onwards flight? Where will I clear immigration? I assume it is still D to I terminal so I'll need a bus again? And will I get the same airport assistance in Y that I did in J?
