For those of us looking for creative ways to justify a mileage run (outside of our local band of FT cuckoos....).

If you are headed East, to BKK specifically, for a mileage run (or just for vacay)...please consider being a pet transport volunteer. Nial Harbison (found on Twitter) is pretty much a one-man dog rescue org on Koi Samui....and he needs adoptee families and/or flight volunteers. Some of you might know that I adopted rescue pup from SXM and it was a great experience (and the flight was amazing...everyone wanted to say hi to the puppy at the airport and on the plane).

Honestly, this might have to be my next MR. Good points, good food, fun shopping, a few sights (I didn't get to Chiang Rai on my last trip), and I can help rescue a pup. Win all around.
