I noticed at Newcastle they were labelled “Vegan”.
Just means made with vegetable oil, rather than butter, taste of the croissant part is pretty similar.
If you are (involuntarily) Dairy intolerant, like my partner, these are something she relishes!
In France Carrefour sell “croissant vegetal”, although inferior to regular butter croissants, they are tolerable!
