EWR-DXB - Tuesday, June 13th.

Was worried a bit since this flight has cancelled 4 times in the last month...
The plane switched from being inbound from LHR to inbound from Milan. At about 20 minutes before boarding time, the gate agent shows up, and quickly boarded the crew. The arrival time was already showing a delay of 15 minutes, but still showed an on time10:20 departure from EWR. Came time to board and although the plane had been at the gate for about an hour, it wasn't catered. So we had to wait to board about 15 / 20 minutes. They finally started and boarded people with disabilities, and then the gate agent (apparently in a rush) called out 1Ks... skipping Military & GS. So there was a rush of people to board. Well, turns out catering wasn't finished, so we stood in the jet bridge for about another 10 to 15 minutes. We got off close to on time I guess... and arrived at about 7:25, so about 20 minutes late. Not bad.

I had the chicken, which was pretty good. I actually liked the chicken appetizer better than the main, but both were pretty good (moist). I did the eggplant last time and really enjoyed that, but was in the mood for chicken. I'd probably go back to the eggplant next time.

The crew were efficient, but a couple of them didn't really speak much.

BTW - total side topic, for another thread, but I'm not a fan of EWR and how the gate agents show up so late for international flights, barely make any announcements, etc.
