yes, for sure songsc. A friend of mine with a PhD in mathematics used to work for AC in whatever division was responsible for scheduling FAs/pilots. Wouldn't it be surprising that AC hires mathematicians for that task but doesn't hire people with PhDs in empirical psychology to design systems to extract maximum $ from passengers? My mistake has been to *assume* the broken IT, etc etc was divergence from that system, rather than the designed result of it. Maybe it isn't but frankly who knows.
