just a BA thing, but it's definitely something to be aware of when flying BA: once you have downloaded or printed your BP then you can no longer change seats without the assistance of BA staff. Your DL experience is on a par with AA where you can change seats up until a short time before boarding (usually, it seems, when the GA starts to clear standby passengers) and your BP will automatically update etc.
