St Lucia is a lovely island with spectacular scenery. Just on the taxi fares, we hired a car straight from the airport (booked beforehand). They aren’t that expensive and probably not much more than two taxi rides and you’ve got the car for a week to explore.

Driving is straightforward if a bit twisty.
