IHG high status members might be more rare and uncommon:

And then there are the ‘everyone’s elite’ sorts of properties.
A few years back, I was at one of those pleasant but nondescript US Holiday Inn Express properties that are popular with business travelers who have to stick within a certain travel budget. Housekeeping accidentally left a guest and room info/special instructions list in my room and from a brief glance of it, I’d say 80%+ of the room occupants I saw were flagged as either Platinum or Spire.
