Welcome to the SAS | Eurobonus Status Giveaway Thread!

As discussed in Consultation/Discussion: Gifting of Eurobonus Status in the SAS | Eurobonus Forum we have implemented the dedicated Eurobonus Status Giveaway Thread for the purpose of giving away Eurobonus stati, which would otherwise go to waste. Based on your status in Eurobonus you can gift the following stati:

• EBG: 1x EBS
• EBD: 1x EBS + 1x EBG
• EBP: 1x EBS + 1x EBG + 1x EBD?

Would you like to offer such a gifted status to your fellow forum members, you can do so in this thread.

RULES:

This thread constitutes an exception to FlyerTalk rule-set which restrict any sort of bargaining, which usually includes free giveaways. This exception is restricted to this thread and subject to certain terms and conditions. It furthermore only applies to a free give-away, which means nothing may be requested in return, and as such only such offers will be allowed in this thread. The most important rules are listed below.

• No asking for status.
• NO ASKING FOR STATUS!
• NO ASKING FOR STATUS!!!

Furthermore, this thread is not meant to serve as a substitute for the bargaining or trading of airline instruments as for such transactions the Coupon Connection forum exists, which does require a minimum number of posts & time on FT to be eligible to enter.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

For simplicity sake the following procedures should be used for offers and applying for an offer:

1. If a fellow forum member would like to offer a status gift to an interested party, they can do so by indicating the availability of specific status via a post in this thread.
   • The offer may have certain conditions (such as requiring and explanation or proof of necessity) and may be given away based on personal preferences (such as requiring forum activity or a minimum post count), but nothing may be requested in return.
2. If you want to apply for an offer, please contact the poster via a private message and explain your interest.
   • Don't just reply to this thread indicating your interest asking to be PMed yourself. As the interested party the work of reaching out falls on you.
   • You are in no way entitled to receive the offered status. The ultimate decision is up to the person offering the status.
3. Once an offer has been claimed and the necessary details have been exchanged via PMs, it is necessary to mark the offer as claimed and no longer valid. This can be done by just editing the offer post and marking it as claimed.
   • To receive a Eurobonus status as gift, it is necessary to share certain personal information such as the Eurobonus number which in turn reveals ones full name with the offering party. If you are not comfortable with this, it will sadly not be possible to receive a Eurobonus status as a gift.
   • Furthermore, while sending out an invitation for a certain status the name of the of the sender is provided in the invitation E-Mail. If you are not comfortable with this, it will sadly not be possible to send a Eurobonus status as a gift.

Any requests or solicitation will be deleted, as will any posts not conforming to the above rule-set.
