Creating a dedicated thread for the upcoming Thompson Rome now that the property has been announced by Hyatt today. This follows the brand's European debut in Madrid last year, and will open ahead of the slightly delayed Thompson planned for Vienna, now opening in spring 2025.

Opening mid-2024 at Via delle Botteghe Oscure 4, in the former headquarters of the Italian Communist Party built in the 1930s. There will be 70 rooms, four dining outlets including a rooftop restaurant and terrace with a cocktail bar featuring panoramic views, two dedicated meeting rooms and a fitness center.
