The key to maximizing Wyndham points are focusing on key properties that offer good value in the 15k a night range. There a spot in Napa we stay at for 15k a night. There used to by a Wyndham on Fort Myers Beach which was 15k a night. There's some good managed properties on Big Island for which you can get an entire condo for 15k a night. Or, focus on the 30k a night properties during key times where roommates exceed $300 a night. Beach front in Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. Big city hotels (NYC). Or big events like Final Four, Superbowl etc. There's a property in Louisville that's great during derby week.
Wyndham Fort Myers Beach is no more, destroyed in the hurricane and the land was sold.
As far as maximizing points, Wyndham points transfer to Caesars so 15K can get a person who doesn't even gable gamble 4 or even 5 nights midweek at Horseshoe, Flamingo or Harrahs.
Since the Wyndham Business card comes with Wyndham Diamond that can be matched to CET Diamond, no resort fees.
