Same menu as the one posted above for other ex-Europe - USA flights. If my outbound flight was a model of the best of UA, this was closer to the mediocre medium I've come to expect. My seat was filthy (chips still in the seat, some sort of tic tacs or other candy strewn about the floor, a filthy filter in the space between the seat and the window). They were also understaffed (they announced to the plane they only had 2 FAs working in the Y cabin for the whole flight) -- so the food service was slow to rollout, especially sitting back in 15A.

The IFE also randomly stopped working 45 minutes into the flight and took another 90 minutes for them to reset (they were busy serving food during that whole time). The good news is post meal once the IFE was fixed and meals cleaned up, they were pretty attentive in refills and providing service when needed.

As for the food -- ordered the fish based on other comments above and then got stuck with the pizza as the only option for the pre-arrival meal. The fish was a bit overcooked but the flavors were quite good and I'd order again -- the pizza was the same frozen pizza mediocrity reported by others, and the sundae was tasty (just wish they had sprinkles to top it all off). Whispering Angel Rose was tasty and seemingly in high demand as they ran out before the end of the flight at which point I switched over to the Heidsieck Monopole Champagne Blue which is quite tasty.
Seems well plated at least. Must have had enough staff to meet the minimum FA to passengers requirement or that plane would never have taken off.
