Hi all - which plane is better (if there's any measurable difference) in first class on the NYC-ORD route: Embraer 175 or A220-100?
I'm most concerned with comfort - both the seat and turbulence potential - and the age of the plane.
I'm assuming there isn't a meal service on a 2.5-3 hour flight, but what can pax typically expect for food/drink?

I don't think others have touched on turbulence potential. The A220 will provide a much smoother ride and won't have the vibrations on takeoff that some E175s have. The E175 is more mechanically reliable than the A220, but overall the A220 will be more reliable, especially going between cities with a potential for ATC delays, since mainline flights are always prioritized over regional jets since less pax are impacted.
