I have no idea, but this thread is about Delta, not Chinese airlines. Delta has different planes, different economic motivations, different alternative uses of planes, etc.
The premise of this thread was someone who was bewildered why Delta would have seasonal summer flights to the South of France from its east coast hubs but not....Kuala Lumpur.
