I am flying on CX843 (JFK-HKG) business class. I am planning to bring my mid-tower desktop as my carry-on. CX website has 56x36x23 cm size restriction, but my desktop is 47x46x23 cm. So technically, my carry-on is 10 cm larger than the allowable. I was wondering if this will typically be an issue.

Additional question: my flight departs at 2AM. I asked CX customer service, and they said that the earliest I could drop off my baggage was 4 hours before my departure time (~10PM). I read somewhere in this forum, I could drop off my baggage earlier with the previous CX flight). Is that true?
