Update
I called the Blue line again, I decided to ignore the press x prompts eventually I spoke to a human, it was a booking line, the chap said I needed to call a number, which turned out to be BAEC number I was being disconnected from. I said I was being disconnected and have been trying for the past 2 days. He put me on hold and came back and said he'll transfer me.
I think he transferred me to a redemption booking line, I explained to the nice lady, who initially thought I had input the wrong password when I read out the message she took me through security, then put me on hold, she then came back to me and said that because I have now phoned in and passed the data protection/security questions, she can now email "audit" who will unlock my account and I should keep a lookout for an email confirming unlocking of account.
So if you're not proactively contacting them, your account won't be unlocked any time soon .........
