Thanks for the insight. Yep I’m in J flying BKK-DPS, so only a single daily flight and no other non-stop options I think, I have *G status via UA but no TG status. It does look like they’ve blocked enough seats on the 359 that there won’t be more than 30 pax (the number of J seats on the 772), unless of course they unblock those seats.
I'm hoping I get the same swap, currently on a 772 (which is fine, great seat for a regional hop to be fair) but it would just be that much nicer to get the A350! Managed to snag a great deal on it too, for some reason the business class prices halved suddenly on the day I wanted to travel so snapped that up! Let us know how your flight goes!
