EF usually picks up blocked but unoccupied / unreserved seats. They are shown in a different way from the seats that have been booked by passengers. So - as mentioned in my response - I don’t know why there is a discrepancy.
9K is a perfectly nice seat, advantage is that it is far forward, so get’s served early on in the meal service. A and K seats are preferable for single travellers. My personal preference is 23K as it is the first seat in the smaller second cabin and because of the configuration is very private. Same for 23A actually.
By the way, the ‘PRO’ EF account (at $9.99 per month) can be ‘switched on / off’ on a monthly basis. I do this regularly as I don’t fly all that much. So signing up when you are planning a trip is useful. It remembers your details, so you can stop / start the subscription with a single click. The only (big) drawback of EF to me is that it does not offer award availability for a number of airlines, including EK anymore
