My miles was about to expire last month, so I booked an award ticket for trip in July before the expiration date. But my travel plan later has changed, and I need to cancel this award, will this cause my miles to reset to my original expiration date and cause them to expire? Otherwise, does that mean, cancel an award could possibly be a loophole to extend mile expiration? thanks
