Depends on whether the United Club is at capacity or not -- when it gets full, they stop taking day passes.

There is an airside bus but it does NOT go from Terminal B (Where Alaska will fly into) to either Terminal A or C (Where United flies from). You can go from A/C to B, but not from B to A/C.
And which airport in Canada are you coming from? It makes a difference as to where you clear customs. Many are "pre clearance" for US customs, but not all.
