Just booked wife and 11 y/o daughter on trip to Europe to use up my 280 PP before July 31st. They are doing PBI-EWR-MUC-ATH 9th July , then LHR-EWR-PBI on return 7th Aug. After literally 297 minutes on the phone with United ( the web search price I got was $500 different to what they got, but it would not let me purchase, so web team had to work with booking team to get me the same price ). They then added the PP for the PZ2 space EWR-MUC.
I have a couple of questions:
1. when they add the PP points, should it not be for the PBI-EWR-MUC whole part and not just the instant clear EWR-MUC. It means the PBI-EWR is not showing waitlist. I always remember the domestic leg being including no ?
2. How do I look at / chose / upgrade the LH leg of MUC-ATH? I put my united ticket number in the website but it is not recognized , thx ! Is it best to just call them, and if so, what do I use as the reference number, the United 6 digit code? thx
