The DOT requires that the receipts be correct. Even though we all know that the correct value is 1 free bag, OP was offered two, and UA needs to honor that (and I suspect they will, begrudgingly, after a DOT complaint).

OP, does the ticket show 2 bags?
The receipt shows 1 bag is free and lists a charge of $45 for the second bag. However, it's not clear if the receipt already takes my *G status into account.
This is what I was shown when booking the fare under "Calculate checked bag charges." It still appears on the UA website when I search for the same award:
However when I enter the same information into the UA baggage calculator after booking, the calculator shows only 1 checked bag for free and a $45 charge for the second bag.
