Here is my question….I cancelled a full fare fully refundable ticket yesterday and was given the options of 1) full dollar amount credited to the AC wallet 2) full fare done as a refund credit( not to the wallet) or 3)a much reduced fare refund to my credit card. Knowing nothing about the wallet I chose option 2 and recieved and email confirming the amount was being held as a credit towards a future ticket purchase. How does one actually access that credit to buy a ticket? I don’t see any way on the AC website or the app to actually use the credit. Plus am I the only one who sees a problem with a supposedly fully refundable ticket being refunded to the original credit card at a much reduced amount below the actual purchase price? Especially as AC was willing to refund the full amount if I chose the wallet or credit options? Seems like a shady scam to hang onto our money.
