You're the only one that can answer. If the above price is not important or barely makes a dent in your wallet (or none at all), you like TP runs, you like being gold because of the benefit that it gives... you know already what you want to do
If you're trying to rationalize the choice, or see it from an objective point of view... well, that's another matter.
What do you like about gold that silver doesn't have? Is it enough to spend £1500 of your money on it? Do you usually need a lot of TP run to maintain it or you naturally get close? Could you "resist" for few months ang get gold back for two years? Would you prefer other destinations to collect TPs? The decision is only yours
