The only factor that I am genuinely involving in my calculations is the 5x MR on airline tickets (compared to 3x points with many other cards). And only with an annual retention bonus can I continue to justify the $695.
Everything else that comes with the card to me is only noise. Most of the reimbursements I can go without, because I would otherwise not pay for these products. I would likely not have the NYT, I would use Uber A LOT less, I would not spend hours on the Saks website twice a year trying to find anything. I would not book through FHR.
The lounge access that sets the card apart from other Priority Pass cards is not really attractive to me either. I do not fly Delta, I do not really value Centurion lounges. Very rarely do I fly LH and enter their lounges with my Platinum card.
If there was another 5x points on airfare card with less features for a lower AF, I'd likely jump at it.
