I gotta say it wasn't that bad. Yes the cabin looks quite old and worn out, and there was one seat that did not recline at all (the passenger was actually reasonable about it, I would have asked to be reaccommodated on the later LH flight), but I gotta say from a purely sleeping perspective, I prefer the layout of the old pods over the new. You have more room to move around your legs and it just felt more comfortable. In every other aspect such as IFE etc. the new pods are of course better.
